Today BD and I went strawberry picking. It was hot and the rows were fragrant with the scent of ripe strawberries, with a hint of our sunscreen. We've been picking berries at River Berry Farm for as long as they've been in business.

Here's a question for you--

What's your idea of strawberry shortcake?

Mine is: a sweetened biscuit, still warm from the oven, split in two, with sweetened sliced strawberries and their juice spooned over each half, all topped by a dollop of freshly whipped cream.

Time to get to work on it.

 kpluta inspired me to take the test, which came out pretty much the way I thought it would, except that I loooove reading and loathe sports--yoga and figure skating are about as close as I get to sports.
